History and animal quiz:

12. Horrible incident: It was the time of British rule in India. Bahadurshah Jaffer was the last Mughal emperor and occupied the throne on 28th September 1838 in Delhi. He was 62 years old then.
At that time there was a revolt against the foreign rule in India by some British Indian soldiers, under his leadership, (it is also called the first war of independence against the Britishers’ rule in India).
Any how this war is not successful and the emperor was imprisoned on 14th September 1857. His two sons and one grandson were beheaded in front of him. The emperor was sent to Rangoon(Burma) as a punishment and spent the rest of his life there and also died there itself.
Thus the Moghul’s rule in India, established by the Emperor Babar in 1526 AD ended after more than 300 years, tragically in the above manner.
