    first of all i would like 2 congratulate u 4r ur success in inter. ur views 2 crack IAS r admirable. but a person aiming 4r IAS should not go 2 distinct easy nd difficult things. civil is very interesting, if u r fundamentally fit in assessing problems. there is no much difference b\w the 2. both needs more stamina while working in labs. I being a civil graduate it is relatively good 2 opt civil. I dont mean that mech is not nice,it is also having its own great wings.
