Sony TV launched Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC 2011) on the occasion of 64th Independence Day. Amitabh Bachchan is hosting this popular quiz game show. KBC 2011 will run 56 episodes (August 15- November 30). KBC 5 timing: 8:30 PM to 10 PM (Monday to Thursday). Cadbury and Idea are main sponsors. Kaun Banega Crorepati is back
Popular Quiz programme Kaun Banega Crorepati is back and Amitabh Bachchan will host KBC-4. No TV programme in Indian history created that much sensation as KBC -1 did. Sony Entertainment channel is once hoping higher TRPs for KBC -4 as Amitabh Bachchan is back. According to media reports, Sony first asked Aamir Khan to host Kaun Banega Crorepati -4 but Aamir rejected the offer as he is busy with schedule. This is for the first time, Sony is broadcasting this programme. Inspiration for Oscar winning movie, Slumdog Millionaire is also Kaun Banega Crorepati. Anil Kapoor acted as host in that movie. Due to KBC -4, Sony decided not to broadcast the third season of Salman Khan’s Dus Ka Dum. There will be no Dus Ka Dum in 2010. We will get more details on KBC -4 soon. KBC -4 prize money: 1 crore Schedule of KBC -4: Phone lines will be opened in 1-2 months and programme is expected to start from November. Kaun Banega Crorepati History: 1.
