Great leaders-Last days

 They lived great lives and left their permanent footprint on world history. But their last days are a big lesson for everyone. They ended their lives in worst circumstances due to bad habits and arrogance. 1. Alexander the great: Greek Warrior.  He began his expedition from Greece, with the intention to conquer the whole world and to some extent, he succeeded in his goal, but due to protest from the soldiers and also his ill-health, he put an end to the expedition in the middle and began his return journey. But, he got severe illness at Babylonia and called for number of doctors from different countries. They tried their level best, but could not able to cure him. The relatives were surrounding him with despair. At that time, Alexander asked his people, “Why are you weeping?”   He also said that I am not dying without any recognition, but in extraordinary way, as I am dying with the help of 30 famous doctors (It is the opinion of many that he died of “Malaria fever”). He also said “I am taking nothing with me from this world”. 2. Sigmund Freud: Famous psychologist.  He was a chain smoker of cigars and got mouth cancer. He had undergone operations 30 times. He requested his friend Max Scour to help him to commit suicide. Scour gave Freud 3 injections of Morphine in a span of hours. Freud died on September 23, 1939. Thus the world famous doctor and psychiatrist died of a bad habit i.e. tobacco smoking. 3. Savitri and Meenakumari: Famous Indian actresses.Savitri is a South Indian actress while Meena Kumari is a Hindi cinema heroine.  Some curious facts on great leaders, artists and interesting incidents in history. 1. Vladimir Lenin’s dead body: It is at kept (preserved) in a tomb in the red square area in Moscow city. Lenin was a great revolutionary leader and died in 1924. Recently, a professor Valerie Bikov (if he is permitted) said that he would preserve the body of Lenin for another 100 more years, with the help of modern technology. 2. Monalisa painting: Pascal Cote (of France), who is doing research on Monalisa portrait, recently brought to the notice that there were eye-brows on her eyes. 3. Guinness book of world records:  It was printed and published for the first time in the year 1955. Till now, the patent rights on the book belonged to HIT entertainment organization of Britain. Recently, Gym patison of Canada purchased he rights on the book for 7000 million dollars. 4. Jecoloterus Renan: It is the name of the largest sea scorpion (8 feet in length). The remnants of it have been discovered recently, near Fromm, a border city, in West Germany. It is expected that it belonged to the period between 460-255 lakhs years of BC. 5. Golden temple in South India: The name of the temple is “Sri Laxminarayani (Sri Mahalakshmi) Goddess golden temple. This temple has been constructed recently in a place called “Sripuram”, near Velur, I40 Km from Chennai in an area of 100 km, at a cost of 6000 million dollars and 1500 kg of gold was utilized.
