Great leaders-Last days
They lived great lives and left their permanent footprint on world history. But their last days are a big lesson for everyone. They ended their lives in worst circumstances due to bad habits and arrogance. 1. Alexander the great: Greek Warrior. He began his expedition from Greece, with the intention to conquer the whole world and to some extent, he succeeded in his goal, but due to protest from the soldiers and also his ill-health, he put an end to the expedition in the middle and began his return journey. But, he got severe illness at Babylonia and called for number of doctors from different countries. They tried their level best, but could not able to cure him. The relatives were surrounding him with despair. At that time, Alexander asked his people, “Why are you weeping?” He also said that I am not dying without any recognition, but in extraordinary way, as I am dying with the help of 30 famous doctors (It is the opinion of many that he died of “Malaria fever”). He also said “I am taking nothing with me from this world”. 2. Sigmund Freud: Famous psychologist. He was a chain smoker of cigars and got mouth cancer. He had undergone operations 30 times. He requested his friend Max Scour to help him to commit suicide. Scour gave Freud 3 injections of Morphine in a span of hours. Freud died on September 23, 1939.
