Ancient India and its great people: India is famous for its rich heritage and culture. India produced so many great personalities in those days in Medicine, Space and Physics. 1. India is the 7th largest country in the world and it is the second in population after China. 2. The Portuguese introduced tobacco in India in the early period of 16th century. 3. Aryabhattu: This famous astronomer discovered in 499 AD about the structure and moving speed, etc. of the earth. But he did not make any propaganda of his discoveries.
